Next week sees the start of the 2010 Detroit Motor Show – the first big Motor Show of the season. On Thursday, Ford announced that its new Mustang Shelby GT500 will be taking a turn on the famous hillclimb circuit as well. Goodwood will be the GT500's first appearance outside of the United States.
General Motors Co. reached a deal Tuesday to sell its money-losing Swedish subsidiary Saab to Koenigsegg Group AB. The companies signed a stock purchase agreement that would give the tiny Swedish supercar maker 100 percent of Saab's shares, GM Europe said in a statement.
